As a next step, I would eliminate CCG's and replace them with playoff quarterfinals played on campus in an eight-team playoff. Autobids to the P5 regular season conference champs + 3 at large bids. A final four comprised of quarterfinal winners is 1000% more legitimate than a final four determined by a beauty contest election. Same principle for the final eight. The 10+6 plan is still the most fair way to determine a champion, IMO. The 10+6 plan may be "fair" but isn't going to happen. The P5 conferences aren't going to allow the G5 conferences to have just as many autobids (1) as they do. Best hope for G5 conferences given the current landscape is an eight team playoff where their odds of getting a team in would drastically increase.
