If he's the best QB in the SEC? Then, this conference's QB's SUCK. Patrick is still young, and improving. He might well be the best prospect. But, my gosh... He is still a work IN PROGRESS. You got a better candidate? The SEC QBs suck.
Yes... the kid from Georgia

Those who can't play, coach. Maybe the SEC is producing players, not coaches. No SEC team would have recruited Saban in his youth... Aufan, are you sure it's just not a factor of the SEC being a relative barren wasteland of coaching talent for the sport's highest level ? Zero of the 22 Pro HOF coaches from SEC Zero of the 49 Super Bowl winning HCs from the SEC Zero of the current 32 NFL HCs from the SEC There is a cerebral side to this sport also, Aufan, don't you think ? There is a cerebral side to the sport, but no team recruits a player for their potential future coaching ability. I'm curious what the breakdown is by conference.

Fordham must be a very cerebral football school. How else could the Super Bowl Trophy be named after one of their alumni? It is surprising that such a cerebral school only has one HOF head coach....

Does it surprise you that Fordham has produced more HOF coaching greats than the entire SEC ? It doesn't surprise me because I've put zero thought into it prior to your revelation. I'm a fan of the SEC because when other SEC teams do well, it helps Auburn. And the only reason that is the case is because polls and opinion decide the championship. the numbers you've provided mean nothing to me. Though I am glad they mean something to you.

I don't care what you guys say... The SEC is a TOUGH conference. Try playing Kentucky's conference schedule, and being a perennial winner. That Said... I think Stoops stays here for awhile. With our basketball riches, the school can afford to pay a top salary. Stoops likes being close to his home (Ohio). I think, there's only one job he would leave for (OSU). And that job is filled....for a while. He seems happy here, and the school loves him. He's earned a big payday, and he'll get it Blast from the past... 2015: I think that was the last time I got a prediction correct!
