Hhmnn... Ohio State #1 on that list. Maybe, that explains there uninspired play down the stretch?
Sure would like to see Texas on that list some day.

That's 2 years in a row for the Buckeyes and several of the kids this year would have had drastically reduced roles had last year's group not left early. And I don't think this had much to do with the bowl performance - the big problem was on offense and only two are leaving early - Brown was a non-factor and Samuel played his ass off against Michigan so why would he decide to be uninspired in the playoff game? the offense regressed terribly through the season which was very disappointing....

Miami is hit hardest... Talent wise and ability to back it up...

Miami is hit hardest... Talent wise and ability to back it up... I assume you mean, they're hit hardest because of their "inability" to replace these losses? Welcome to the board. Are you a Hurrcane fan? We don't have one here.

8 of the 103 early entrees have earned their degree.

year in year out I think it's LSU...
LSU gets some of the top talent in the nation, but they aren't winning National or even SEC titles....so why stay around?

Correct. Best tight end in college and a solid qb. Not sure of what they have behind them.

Not having a solid QB makes it REALLY tough to compete for at the very highest level. Bama and Ohio State this year demonstrated this.

Bama didn't compete at the highest level?

Bama didn't compete at the highest level? Hell no, Bama didn't - any team that loses the NC game on basically the last play of the game has a lot of work to do!!! As for OSU - it was the entire offense!

Bama didn't compete at the highest level? If you're not first, you're last! :-) It is known.

Bama didn't compete at the highest level? If you're not first, you're last! :-) I believe that was Ricky Bobby who said that - amongst many others! (Nick Saban probably included!)
