I think I would go with Sweeney - I love his passion and enthusiasm He is the single reason Clemson is Elite. Plus anybody that beats Alabama is a fan of mine. Peterson - His track record is impeccable at Boise and brought immediate success to Washington Herman - I saw what he did with the tOSU offense and then to take a Houston team into the spotlight was impressive. Bit of a home pick here, but if I am Bevo I would be very excited about the upcoming season.

I would choose Vince Lombardi to coach the Blue Hens and Larry Kehres to coach the Hokies
....the greatest professional and college HCs of all time.

I like the guy, and had hopes he might be coming to Texas. But, Herman was the better fit, given his long history IN Texas. I have great confidence in Tom. When Strong FIRST came to Texas, I posted a note here saying he was making a BIG mistake by getting rid of nearly ALL assistant coaches. He cut all existing ties with the Texas High School coaches. In-State recruiting died. Getting in-state talent should be Priority #1 for a UT coach. There is plenty there to build a team. You TOP IT OFF with a few stars from out of state. Charlie tried to build Texas with Florida recruits. Surprise! he failed.

OSU was so lucky to get Meyer, I really don't know who could replace him - it will be a tough act to follow. A couple coaches I like are David Shaw and Willie Taggert but they're both former Harbaugh assistants so fat chance of that happening. I guess if he does well at UC, Luke Fickell could be an option. He's a great recruiter and a Buckeye through and through.

I think he will return to Bama at some point as well. It's in the blood. Seems like a similar situation for tOSU and Urban. Just beat the team on the biggest stage that is your destiny. Not sure how many more years Saban will be there, but at the moment I could not imagine them going any other direction than Dabo.
