Went to rivals.com to check out the recruiting and the Buckeyes just recently jumped to the top spot. When I went to look at who the Buckeyes got, thus far they have 8 of the top 35 players in the country. No one else has more than 2. They are also in mix being on the very short list with 3 others. Based on how rivals ranks players, this could be the greatest class of all time.
I know BAMA typically finishes extremely strong but at the moment they are not in the top 25. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

I was looking at 247 sports and the ratings are similar. I think OSU has all 5 and 4 stars except for 2 3 stars and one is the younger brother of Malik Hooker. They are also predicted to get two other top 10 players and another 4 star whose in the top 40 players. Just an incredible class - and yet, the idiots on Sirius college sports channel thinks Jim Harbaugh is going to be making annual appearances in the football playoff. I guess Urban Meyer is going to forget how to coach.

I'm sure that you have seen it but Clemson has to top 2 players committed on Rivals. #1 an #5 overall. I have stated a couple of times that I think this is a huge year for Clemson. If they can have another elite season then their team is clearly in the upper echelon after the losses they took. The recruiting is certainly starting to show that the high schoolers see Clemson as elite. Good Luck to your Tigers this season. Even though you embarassed us last season, you certainly brought a smile to my face when you took down the Big Bad SEC. Taking Thursday off for a rib fest / buckeye bash at the home stead.

I don't know how they're going to keep Chase Young off the field (well actually I do - they're named Tyquan Lewis, Sam Hubbard, Nick Bosa and Jalen Holmes) but I sure am looking forward to seeing that kid in action. He appears to be a man among boys. and it looks like JK Dobbins may get a bunch of carries on Thursday because Mike Weber has a sore hammy - better not be out too long, Mike - JK could steal your spot.
