I think we're in for a great ending to this college football season. This is the first year I think where you have some real stud teams that can challenge Alabama. For years, the BCS/Playoff has consisted of Alabama and usually 1 other team that can beat them. This is the first playoff that looks wide open IMO
Alabama? Clemson? Miami? Oklahoma? Ohio State? Who is the best team?
The SEC needs to solve itself, and the Iron Bowl will be one step closer to clearing the Alabama-Georgia-Auburn picture
Meanwhile, Clemson (provided they beat the Gamecocks) and Miami are headed on a collision course for the ACC Championship. This will be a playoff game itself
Oklahoma is rolling despite Baker Mayfield vulgarity...they may have the best offense in the country. I definitely want to see these guys match up in the playoffs
Ohio State and Wisconsin are also on a collison course. I think Wisconsin is much better than people think, but Ohio State has put it into another gear since the Iowa game. I would like to see Ohio State get in the playoff, but I think they need Alabama and possibly Miami to win out. They are going to have trouble if there is a 1-loss Miami or Bama team hanging around.
we're in for an amazing playoff I think

Clemson and Miami will both probably make it IF:
tOSU wins B10, TCU wins B12, Bama goes undefeated, and Clemson wins a tight game over Miami.
The Committee still has a hard on for blue-blood programs.
But, in the end, none of it is legitimate, so we are all worked up over nothing.

If I was a Disney executive and wanted the best TV blockbuster of an Invitational I'd invite Bama, Miami, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
If I was an NCAA competition committee director I'd invite Wisconsin, UCF, Bama and Miami............throw the combined 42-0 records into a little competition and see what happens.
If I was GOD I'd invite the highest rated and respected Universities ( among all these discussed schools) : Wisconsin, Penn State, Notre Dame and Washington or USC.

Ohio State vs Auburn or Georgia in the Fiesta

Especially those "beauty contest" USN&WR ratings? I thought "playing" was better than voting?: Penn State SAT 1160-1380, ACT 25-29 Alabama SAT 1080-1320, ACT 22-31

If current highest placed teams win out, my point system would advance Alabama, Wisconsin, Miami, and UCF. Other teams that have a mathematical shot include Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Georgia, USC, Clemson, Ohio State, Auburn, and Boise State.
