Ohio State is in if Alabama wins out, Miami wins out and Oklahoma wins out.....Bevo that's not just Buckeyes fans saying that........almost all of the College Football Pundits are saying that, and that's not totally out of the realm of possibility. That said I'm a Buckeye fan and Id be kinda conflicted about this team getting, BECAUSE THEY ARE good enough to upset Alabama, and talent wise I don't think it would be all that suprising if they beat Oklahoma or Miami. But theres that loss to Iowa that lingers, a champion doesn't lose that bad to a mediocre IOWA team We'll see. I don't think a 2 loss team is going ahead of a 1 loss team. It would have to be extraordinary... And OSU's resume is not. With Miami taking a dive, the only thing that stands in front of Ohio State is Alabama. If Alabama wins out and Ohio State wins out they are in. There is one other scenario that could bite them and that would be Oklahoma losing to TCU. Oklahoma would have a tie breaker over Ohio State but Ohio State would have a Conference Champ tie breaker. That scenario also requires 2 Big 12 teams to get in that I don't see happening. If Alabama has a loss in the Iron bowl then it looks like this: tOSU Wins over 1 loss Wisconsin, 2 loss PSU, 3 loss Michigan St 4 loss Michigan losses 1 loss Oklahoma and 5 loss Iowa Alabama Wins over 3 loss LSU, 4 Loss Miss St, 5 loss TAM (assumes LSU beats TAM) losses over 2 loss Auburn Sure one loss BAMA probably has the edge but it is not that cut and dry. If the committee can not conclude that BAMA is unequivocally better than OSU the it goes to tie breakers that benefit tOSU

I think it depends on how Miami looks in losing. If they play a great game against Clemson, and barely lose? I think they'll get voted in over OSU. If it's ugly, and all those things happen? It's between OSU and Notre Dame. OSU would probably win, as they would be a conf champ. But, I think all of these scenarios are pretty unlikely. More likely, more of these undefeated teams drop a game. If they do, OSU is in trouble. Not now a 2 loss team whom didn't win their conference title over a 2 loss Conference champion? Ohio State is in Over Miami if they lose, that loss to Pittsburgh today was every bit as bad as the loss to Iowa, Miami would have no elite wins, and no conference title

Ohio State needs help, and they need to blow out Wisconsin

I would take Iowa over Pitt on a neutral field...so whom would you have over Ohio State? Notre Dame? They lost by 33(Granted it was to a better team) USC(35) The only other team besides the Buckeyes you could justify is TCU if they beat Oklahoma

The have a championship game against ND and considering the are 8 and 9 they are very close. The CCG would be the tie breaker UCF is pretty far behind and won't have the scedule to pass Ohio State I agree the loss to Iowa is a big sinking point. But they had a nice win against PSU and blew everyone out in their other 8 wins including MSU.

I think Bama is IN, right now... no matter what happens. They can't lose two now. At 11-1 or 12-1, they are IN. Might actually be better for them if they lose the Iron Bowl, get the undefeated monkey off their back, and give Saban more time to get them ready. Of course, that's NOT how Champions think. :-) That's what I said last week. I think the committee will confirm this tonight by placing Bama at #5. The only scenario that keep Bama OUT is, if Oklahoma and Wisconsin BOTH win. Hero? You need to be wearing your Ohio State hat this weekend!
