I don't think there is any parity in college football...
We've had 4 playoffs so far, and Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State have dominated. You have a large drop off after those three programs.
Georgia and Miami are building. FSU is an unknown. Penn State will be returning back to normal. Oklahoma will have to find a new QB. USC underperforms annually.
Next year, the title game will probably be Clemson-Bama IV

I'm a homer, but I think next year's Ohio State team will be Urban Meyer's best team, since he's been at Ohio State. I like Haskins passing ability, I like the loaded recruiting class and Ohio State picked up a superstar running back whom might be every bit as good as 'Zeke Elliot(He's got to prove of course) but I think Ohio State and Alabama barring injury are the two most talented teams next year.....and I feel fairly confident the Buckeyes can take the Tide. On paper at least the lines match up, and they may actually have more skill position talent..........but I've been wrong plenty of times before, and the Big 10 looks loaded.
It will be someone of the following 7
1)Ohio State
2) Alabama
3) Clemson
4) Oklahoma
5) Georgia
6) Texas
7) Florida State
I actually think the title will be Ohio State-Alabama, but it's way to early for anyone's guess yet

I don't think I'm buying the "Ohio State is gonna be awesome" koolaid anymore. There's something wrong up there. They recruit and recruit, but... can't seem to shake the 1-2 games where they just don't seem to have any intensity. Maybe, the balance of the B1G is starting to catch up with them. It's not the cake-walk it was 10 years ago.
I won't be bidding on them next year.

I agree Bevo, they always seem to die on the vine in a game or 2 dam, IOWA was an embarrassment.it will happen again,2 many lost starters and defections to the pros. unproven QB /

I've been drinking the Koolaid for almost 50 years, I'm not giving up now! Go Bucks!! I think Haskins is going to be so good he may only be around for one year.

I've been drinking the Koolaid for almost 50 years, I'm not giving up now! Go Bucks!! I think Haskins is going to be so good he may only be around for one year. At the very end of the Longhorn's dominant decade (1998-2009) I was pretty convinced that a number of our "great" players were more interested in not getting an injury that would jeopardize their pro career than they were in WINNING for Texas. MAYBE, some of that is infecting players at OSU? After a teams SUCKS long enough, I think (hope) the hunger drives them to re-focus on the NOW.
