Hey Doc,
I just made a quick trip to London (for a 3 hour meeting!). I slept ALL THE WAY over there. But, I stay UP ALL THE WAY home. Got to watch three movies:
Bad Moms Christmas: Meh.... mildly entertaining. They walked close to the line of TOTALLY STUPID, but stayed just short of it.
Murder on the Orient Express: Interesting movie... GREAT cast. Michelle Pfeiffer was terrific. Beautifully filmed. But, the pacing was REALLY slow. I expected more from a Ridley Scott movie. Still though, worth a watch. The guy that played Poirot was really good. I never saw in the credits who it was.
3 Billboards from Ebbing, Mo. - Wow.. THAT was a movie. I love movies like this, where I just NEVER KNOW where it's going. The performances were incredible... really, pretty much all of them. But, Sam Rockwell especially. I've seen some in the press dissing him, because his character was a "racist"... what a shame. I hope that doesn't prevent him from winning. It's a ROLE! It's not Sam. Good grief.
Also watched a movie called "Newness" on Netflix... yowzer! It's hot. The Spanish chick in this movie gets my hot just listening to her accent. The sex is prevalent, but not really graphic. It's a really interesting plot though. I liked it much more than I expected.
Sure would be nice to be at home, even just a little... sadly, not gonna happen. Have to go to Houston on Friday... Again next week.. then to Germany for a week. I think I've slept in MY BED, at home a total of 6 nights so far this year. That's NUTS! (granted, 10 of those days were on a cruise to Aruba, Bonn Aire, Curacao)
