The SEC is dominating with 6 teams in the super regionals
Duke and North Carolina are there...apparently they are good in something besides basketball
Minnesota, the only Big 10 team there. I like to see Big 10 teams compete for college baseball, its good for the sport

I'd like to see it too but weather /climate is not conducive to it . I'm amazed how cold weather Oregon State has been so strong.

Some good matchups on the slate for this weekend! ...and no moronic committee is meeting behind closed doors in a conference room to 'vote' four teams directly into the final four. Can you imagine that ?

Recruiting decisions are huge for the trajectory of a program and their ability to compete for a national title - getting high end guys to delay their professional career to come to school and play ball is imperative.
UVa just had their crown jewel, Mike Vasil (6’4" RHP 94-97) say he was going to UVa no matter what despite being a projected top 25 overall MLB pick.
Clemson is after:
Justin Wrobleski LHP 6’2": Most likely arm not to make campus and opt to sign a contract. I’d say there’s about a 20-30% chance he doesn’t come to school. 90-93 fastball, good slider. Three pitch guy that will contribute immediately out of the bullpen at minimum but will develop into a starter by season end. Similar trajectory or path as Strider this season,
Carter Raffield RHP 6’4": Second most likely arm not to make campus, but should. 91-94 FB with a good power curve. Very similar mold to Spencer Strider. Good velo and secondary stuff but struggles with command. Another potential freshman who can make an impact in the bullpen and maybe a spot start here and there.
Those are the two best arms in the class. There are 3-4 other arms (Davis Sharpe, Nate Lamb, Keyshawn Askew, Jackson Lindley) that are all 88-91 guys who should contribute here and there next season and be good/great sophomore/junior year.
If we lose either Wrobleski or Raffield this pitching class will be below what we need it to be.
Always felt like that's what kept Leggett from winning the CWS, he kept getting big time recruiting commitments just to watch them get drafted in the first 5 rounds and sign. Never had a good back up plan.

sounds like you keep up with Clemson baseball pretty well, cpa . Very cool. Monte has now lost 3 home regionals in a row. Very bad. At least one was a chance to host a Super.
IN the 25 years prior to Monte, Clemson had 3 home losses in regional play.
We now have 6 in 3 years.
None of the Clemson pitchers made it to the 5th inning (the preferred playoff target). Only 1 made it to the 4th inning.
Monte is not on the hot seat, but another home regional loss next year and fans will be calling for changes.

Rain delays are killing me Yep, looks like about a 1:30 AM (EST) wind up to the Miss State - Carolina game. I don't have a job so I'll drink a little coffee and give it a shot.

Wow Arkansas sort of choked tonight....they literally had the game won. Three players ready to catch a foul ball in the 9th, and they miss it....Oregon State comes back to win
Will Arkansas join the Atlanta Falcons 2016 and Georgia Bulldogs 2017 as another team to literally let victories for title slip away? There is nothing more brutal in sports than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
Well the Hogs have 1 more shot

The foul ball miss for Arkansas tonight and the base running screw up for OSU last night. Lots can go wrong in this game and as Yogi said " it ain't over til it's over "...the beauty of no clock to milk and run out in this sport.
