The SEC has played by far the fewest road non-conference games. Considering they only have 8 league games vs 9 by the BIG, B12, and P12 that an extra 5,6, or 7 road games per season against a power 5 team.
Every team play a minimum of one games vs an FCS school with several playing 2. Might as well keep on scheduling those worthless games because the committee certainly doesn't penalize them for it.

LSU went and played at Lambeau Field to play Wisconsin
also, future road games: at Texas (2019) at UCLA (2021) at Clemson (2025) at Oklahoma (2027)

..so LSU takes 4 legitimate n/c road trips in the next 10 seasons...about one every 2 1/2 years, right ? At least it beats Bama's two true road games in 10 years !! Can you SEC guys see that cpa's data and the CBS article are dead on about SEC scheduling ideology ?
