What a great weekend of football...this was the kind of weekend that keeps you watching the whole day.
How good is Alabama this year? 1995 Nebraska good? 2001 Miami good? Could this be one of the best teams ever?
LSU-Auburn is just a phenomenal showcasing of the SEC. The SEC is by far the best conference this year. Who is #2? I guess I would have to hand that to the Big 12 who had Ohio State on the ropes and pulverized USC. Also largely unnoticed, Oklahoma State took down Boise State.
I've already mentioned the many embarrasing losses yesterday, and Florida State's abyssmal offense in other posts
we also missed several games that were cancelled, such as West Virginia vs. NC State, Virginia Tech vs. East Carolina, and UCF vs. North Carolina....I wonder how this will impact the season. Maybe the ACC got lucky

West Virginia needs that game against NC State to have any chance to make it to the CFP.
Will they not try to reschedule it?

Alabama Clemson Georgia Ohio State Whowoudathunkit? What are Ohio State's odds of losing twice? Penn State is a must win Georgia has played absolutely no one....they still have LSU and Auburn on the schedule Alabama and Clemson are in good shape to make the playoff though.

FSU is still bad, as is ACC overall.
Wake, BC, and Cuse could be tough games for the Tigers, Clemson's offense gained a lot of confidence yesterday eushing and passing for 260 each. Defense dominated GASOU, the 2nd of 3 option teams this year. Cuse backup QB DeVito looked good for Dungey.
Duke has a rushing offense w/QB out.
Wisconsin exposed. B1G lost 5 games against non-AQ teams. Big Ten lost to 7 unranked teams, its worst non-conference day in the entire AP Poll era (1936)
Bama rolling.
PAC12 is bad-bad. P12 south champ could be 7-5.
Texas came alive in the 2nd quarter.

Penn State is a must win Georgia has played absolutely no one....they still have LSU and Auburn on the schedule Alabama and Clemson are in good shape to make the playoff though. I think barring injuries if the Buckeyes were gonna lose twice one of those two losses had to be to TCU. The East outside of Penn State does not look as frightening...and honestly I think the adversity faced in the TCU game will help them going into State College. Ohio State may have only beat Penn State by 1 last year, but honestly they beat them up statically, lost the turnover and penalty battle and still won the battle last year in Columbus...I think they find a way to get the win over PSU in state college as well. Michigan State doesn't look to have the guns to keep up with Ohio State, despite getting them at home, and I don't think Michigan does either......the Buckeyes may drop 1 due to an off game....but If I have to predict I think they are going undefeated.*****Minnesota may be a sneaky team to come out of the Big Ten West. They've had a harder non conference schedule than it looks and they've kept improving...dominating a decent Miami(Ohio) and beating a good Fresno team...….with Wisky taking a step back then Gophers are stepping up. 'Bama looked great.....but I'm not convinced 'Ole Miss with their defense isn't just a 4-5 team......I picked Georgia to win the SEC to start the year....and to me, they look slightly better than Bama......let's not forget during the national title game they had almost no scouting reports on TUA.....they will if they meet 'Bama for the SEC title. -SEC West is the best division in the land right now bar none. -Does a 1 loss BYU team, if it runs the table get consideration the Playoff? Wins over Wisconsin and Washington, Arizona and Utah...….if those all turn out to be bowl teams.....what do you think? -Clemson looked good as well -Oklahoma held off the lone team that beat them last year in a tightly contested game My playoff prediction for week 3 1) Georgia 2) Clemson 3) Ohio State 4) Oklahoma

Ohio State BYU
Granted, Oregon State and Rutgers are probably #128 and #129 but hey, whatever makes you look good. And if Miami can be considered a top 10 win for LSU with wins over Toledo and Savannah St, you might as well brag about the power wins.
