After 3 weeks of play, we've seen games that definitely help shape the CFP picture:
Winners:
LSU - huge road win @ Aubie. Natural pollster knee-jerk is to put them damn near in the T5.
tOSU - statement win in Dallas. Heckuva game and both teams are legit.
OKST - nice win against the nation's best G5 team
Losers:
Whisky - the teetotalers came into Madison and out-muscled that beer drinkers
Aubie - tough schedule ahead and already one conf loss
TCU - no reason to hang your head, losing to a very good tOSU squad, but the Frogs were up 8 and in a span of a few minutes found themselves down 12 and they never recovered the lost momentum.
Week 4 has only 2 games eaturing T25 action, but some other sneaky road games for teams trying to remain on the bubble and in the chase
No. 7 Stanford @ No. 20 Oregon No. 22 Texas A&M @ No. 1 Alabama (A&M +26 - am taking that)
No. 8 Notre Dame @ Wake Forest No. 18 Wisconsin @ Iowa No. 14 Mississippi State @ Kentucky No. 17 TCU @ Texas

If they came out with a playoff pool today, and the criteria is based on resume, LSU would have to be in the top 4 - they probably have the best win of the year and will get credit with a second top 10 win over Miami (we'll see how good the Canes really are). Can they keep it up? That's the big question. Auburn has a big win but they also have a loss. Georgia is getting a lot of credit for their South Carolina win but again, how good will the Gamecocks be? We'll see.
I attended the OSU/TCU game and came away very impressed with the Frogs - a very quick team and their offensive skill players are outstanding. i think the OSU lines had a little more depth and wore down TCU the final 18 minutes but they were right there with a chance to win going into the 4th quarter. The funny thing was, even though it was played in Texas - 18 miles from TCU's campus - the crowd was probably 70/30 in favor of OSU. Very impressive showing by Buckeye nation.

Each of top 4 CFB team's biggest weaknesses, per @sbn_BillC
1️⃣ Bama is giving up pretty big big plays
2️⃣ Ohio State is giving up really big big plays
3️⃣ Georgia’s defense is awfully bend-don’t-breaky
4️⃣ Clemson still has a passing-downs problem

When we were in Vegas, in JULY, Bama was only paying 2-1 to WIN the CFP title this year. 2-1! I thought that was insane.
After watching them play a few games? That might have been a great bet.
