After 1 day of having no comment, Dabo today says Trevor is QB1, and he will start Saturday against 'Cuse.
It took 4 games, but what has become obvious is that Clemson's offense with Trevor is more dangerous, efficient and productive.

Saturday was the first time I really watched Clemson. They looked good. And Lawrence looked like the real deal.

Saturday was the first time I really watched Clemson. They looked good. And Lawrence looked like the real deal. Agree, saw really good effort from the whole team against GT.
Lawrence's release is so fast it looks blurry even on HDTV.
He's 6th nationally despite only playing part-time, and ranked 1st in TD ratio, IIRC.
Credit to the coaching staff on making the change. Everyone can see TL’s potential that will only continue to expand with more reps and game situations. This is a move based on performance up until this point, but also based on trying to be competitive in the playoff (watching Tua at Bama, Haskins at OSU, and Fromm slightly improved at UGA is scary right now, especially Tua).
Clemson can win the ACC with Bryant at QB. Not sure that's true in the playoff.
See the Bama game last year...stack the box, cheat up the safeties because passing ability was limited.

It seems clear this move is about preparing for a National Championship run. What a year we are going to see.
