Bama/Georgia/Clemson/Ohio State
Entrenched at the top.
Kentucky cracks the list at 17. Texas climbed back in at 18.
One thing I found interesting: At 3-0, UCF is at # 13. Far higher than where they were at this point last year. Which, proves the point I was trying to make last year: ONE great year doesn’t vault a team to the top. But, continued success will get ANY team there.
Because of last years success, UCF started higher in the rankings. If they keep winning, they’ll move up. If they actually played a semi-decent schedule, they’d have a chance at the CFP. But, probably not gonna happen unless the get into a P5 conference.

NC State lost a game with West Virginia too right? If I'm the UCF football coach I'm begging my AD to schedule a makeup with the strongest opponent possible. I call up the AD and say look we had a game cancelled but so did 8 other teams we have to find a way to reschedule that game against North Carolina or schedule a new one against West Virginia or NC State come he'll or high water.

Yes... As, I said then that losing that game would KILL them. They can't afford to miss ANY P5 games.
Real shame.
Good point though.. maybe, another school lost a game, and they can find a way to get it back.

Akron did as Nebraska 'pussed' out and decided to play Bethune-Cookman instead but I doubt a game against the Zips would help UCF much.
