Georgia plays a team with a pulse and drops like a sack of potatoes
I had no idea why people put this team on the same platform with Clemson, Bama, and Ohio State...they were lucky to get a second chance last year, and they have played absolutely no one this year. They opened with Austin Peay
Also...how dangerous is LSU? They can't rest...they have Miss St next week, then a BYE, then Bama

Georgia got a lot of boost from LAST year's team... but, they lost a LOT of talent from that team.

As well as overrated West Virginia.

As well as overrated West Virginia. I don't think West Virginia was overrated. They have a darn good team. Iowa State is also a decent team, especially playing at night, at home.

Ok, Iowa State is the best 3-3 team in the country (maybe) but I don’t think WVU is a top 10 team, that’s why I said they’re overrated.

WVU couldn’t get anything going... and they could NOT stop ISU’s running game. I’ve seen a couple of WVU games this year. I really thought they had the best team in the Big 12. But, they sure didn’t look like it last night. Maybe they’ve had some injuries I don’t know about? Oh well .. they’ve opened the door for Texas!

Texas is in the drivers seat! WVU and the Sooners have to play so one will be eliminated for sure. WVU also has to play at Texas, right?

Texas is in the drivers seat! WVU and the Sooners have to play so one will be eliminated for sure. WVU also has to play at Texas, right? yes... Texas gets our two toughest remaining opponents, (WVU and Iowa St) both in Austin. I think, we have a VERY good chance of running the table... We might have to play a rematch with OU in the CCG. That would suck. Maybe, it's just the pessimism of being a "homer"... but, I don't feel like Texas is in the same class as Bama, OSU, or Clemson. We're good. And, we'd have a CHANCE against any of those teams. But, If we played 10 times against Bama, we'd lose 9. We have some talented players now. A few guys, like Cb Kris Boyd, that I REALLY feel confident in. Also, WR Colin Johnson and 'Lil Jordan Humphrey (Yes... that IS his legal name... "Lil Jordan"... ) But, I'm not sold on our offense.. and, our defense takes a LOT of chances... I LIKE that. I'd rather a defense be aggressive.. try to force the action. That's what we do. MOST of the time, it works... but, we give up a lot of big plays too. If we make it to 12-1, and get to the CFP... I doubt we could threaten the elite. But, it would be GREAT for the program. It would help Hermann in recruiting. And, next year? Who knows?? For sure, this the BEST SEASON Texas has had since 2009... and, I am LOVING college football again.

FYI>>> Texas has really NOT BEEN RELEVANT for all of the years I have been on this board. It feels weird to me.
