Actually, the Clemson player that should be in the conversation is RB Travis Etienne.
Leads P5 runners with a 9.2 YPC and 11 TDs. Significantly underutilized in the first 3 games, due to Bryant taking so many QB runs and teams not respecting Bryant's passing ability.
He has 60 fewer caries than Taylor and 40 fewer than Snell. More TDs than both.
Clemson leads the nation in YPC on 1st down at 7.85

Taylor runs behind a huge line and gets 25-30 carries a game. The Wisconsin QB is very limited so he is their bell cow - stop him and Wisconsin is in trouble.
