I truly see nothing exciting about this prediction... My honest to goodness predictions I think Alabama wins out, but will be tested on the road at LSU and narrowly survive I think Michigan loses to either Penn State or Sparty.....look Michigan beat an obviously flawed Wisconsin team that lost to BYU earlier in the year....not a good BYU team mind you a 4-3 mediocre BYU team. This years Wisconsin team lived off the reputation of last years team.....Michigan did what they should have done, but this is also a flawed Michigan team that almost got tagged against Northwestern. I'm,not buying the hype......they'll lose to Penn State or Michigan State and until they beat Ohio State.....I won't predict them to beat Ohio State. Michigan is a 3 loss team and Ohio State will win the Big Ten over Iowa. Notre Dame will lose along the way to USC. Texas will win the Big 12 I'm not sure Clemson won't get tagged by someone and get knocked out of the playoff picture along the way....can I see Miami doing it....? Or NC State? Boston College? Yes I can and I'm gonna predict it will happen. Clemson will lose and there will,be a debate between them Oregon and ND for the final playoffs spot...... It goes to Clemson So my projection is this 1) Alabama 4 Clemson 2) Ohio State vs 3) Texas Notre Dame would get in over Texas most likely....that Maryland loss is ugly Texas needs help to get...someone ahead of them would need to lose twice

Notre Dame, if they drop a game... LATE in the season, will have ONE LESS WIN that Texas, if we win out.
I think 12-1 >>> 11-1. CCG's matter. Late losses matter >>> than early losses.
The loss to Maryland was ugly, but... there WERE special circumstances: 1) It was on the road, 2) It was against a team playing their first game after the death of a teammate. They were VERY emotional. It was a tough environment for Texas.
I PRAY we get to see this choice for the committee.
If it's 12-1 Texas vs 12-0 Notre Dame? I think we get left out. And, this is what I expect to happen.

Notre Dame plays a national schedule. That win over Michigan right now helps push them higher
That Maryland loss = U*G*L*Y

True, it was ugly... But, we'd be talking about Notre Dame LOSING a game, right here at the end of the season. That will hurt a LOT more than a loss in the first game. And, Texas would have a conference title, and MORE wins. That would carry the day with the committee.
But, as I said.. I the Irish go undefeated, they're in.

In 2014 Ohio State lost to Virginia Tech before they hit their stride. Virginia Tech fibished 6-6. Alot depends on how Texas looks as they finish and how Michigan finishes. If Michigan loses two more games, and gets blown out by Penn State, Michigan State or Ohio State I could see Texas overtaking Notre Dame.....and I don't think they'd have to look real impressive doing it.....if the voters feels Oklahoma is a top 10 team

What is the national perception of Virginia Tech and Maryland though?
The Hokies have a ruckus night atmosphere where Metallica shows up on the big screen, and they are known as a hard physical team
Maryland? Weird helmets, perennial losers. When was the last time Maryland was good? 2001 - Ralph Friedgen. Terrapin football is garbage. You know who beat the Terps this year? TEMPLE...absolutely destroyed them.
