Playing a triple option team is tough because you must play assignment football, and these kids are not taught that much anymore - they are taught to follow and run to the ball.
1. Take away the dive in the A gap 2. play assignment football 3. hit the qb every play
Very true... especially, #3 That is the Achilles heal of the triple option ...and why it would never ever be used at the highest level of football.
