Only 26% of US citizens know the 3 branches of government.
That says 74% of US citizens shouldn't be voting.
Agree with Hen here, the average dumbth of our electorate would cause the founders to roll over in their graves.

FBI, CIA, and NSA?
I think the three branches of government is a completely outdated question...it is a stupid novelty question from the 50s.
What branch is the Federal Reserve in? Department of Homeland Security? Secret Service? FISA courts?
The government is a gigantic bloated mess

Can't pass an 8th grade civics class - no voting
Have an IQ of 90 or less -no voting
Can't read above the 5th grade level - no voting
Have no high school diploma - no voting
Pay no taxes - no voting *
Have criminal convictions - no voting
* exceptions made for severely handicapped individuals
These minimum standards would yield high quality public servants...not the types that thrive on manipulating dumb people.

I can answer MOST of those questions... like, Obama used the EXECUITIVE branch of the government to spy on candidate Trump. But, you're point is well made. Government is WAY out of control. |

I saw in my Twitter feed this morning:
The problem with dumb people voting - they get egged on by dumb celebrities/musicians/actors/athletes and are encouraged to take even more dumb people to vote.
Consequently, the problem gets worse.

My mother passed away this past January. She voted Republican her entire life. This is probably the election where she starts voting Democrat.  |
