ESPN did their best to hype the BC upset of Clemson.
How will the weather affect Clemson?
How will Trevor Lawrence do in his first true road start in a tough game?
Can Clemson slow down AJ Dillon, who was 4th in FBS rushing coming into the game?
BC comes in averaging 37.2 ppg. and 203 RYPG?
Howard, Pollack, ESPN Radio: Clemson is vulnerable here today. most vulnerable of the top 10.
Weather: Clemson moved to 7-0 in games played in 30-degree weather.
Lawrence: At one point was hitting close to 90% of his passes, despite constant blitz.
AJ Dillon: 39 yards rushing (previous avg was 128)
BC : 7 points, 9 rushing yards total.
Texas with the Crabtree revenge play for a TD.
Florida tried to give the game away, but recovered.
USF and Temple rolled.

I quit watching ESPN except when one of my team’s games is on. The rest is unwatchable....

Texas with the Crabtree revenge play for a TD. Ha! Hardly. That Crabtree play kept one of the best Texas teams EVER out of the 2-team playoff. This loss meant NOTHING to Tech. Still, a nice win. We tried to give it away.

ESPN did their best to hype the BC upset of Clemson. ESPN is such a joke. There was a time when they had some pretty solid insight. These days they seem to think their niche is hatchet jobs and useless hype. The integrity scale has them below the National Enquirer and near the Weekly World News.

Lordy, don't look now, Clemson pays Duke in a NIGHT game this week.
What will ESPN think?

Yeah, you have to wonder how many classes Zion Williamson and his freshman phenom team mates at Duke will attend following the holidays and first semester. And I know it's only Ohio State but 40 Buckeye football players received academic honors following last season...

Common knowledge CPA, but Duke's lower standard guys are still academically/cerebrally of a higher standard than the WAAC factory special admits.. Same for the service academies, N'western, Rice etc. It's relative.

CPA, all those cowardly SEC rent-a-win games are actually playoff games. I learned this from Bevo. He said every single regular season game counts and is a critical playoff game because the regular season is a playoff. Therefore , maybe you shouldn't be so skeptical of those SEC crunch time playoff games.

But, that said... this scheduling is a joke. If I were the head of the NCAA, this is the FIRST thing I would fix.

Upsets have happened with the BC Eagles...just ask '93 Notre Dame. And of course there was the Flutie game

SEC will likely got 17 - 0 vs than the FCS Farr far better than the BIG which could only go 3 - 0 vs FCS
