And I say little difference between the Ohio State win over Maryland, and Oklahoma's wins over Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas all those teams are mediocre and 2 of 3 Oklahoma should've lost! I am assuming that the beat-down that Maryland put on Texas has little relevance as well since it was at the beginning of the season.

For starters... The Texas loss at Maryland was not exactly a 'Beat Down"... it was a 5 point margin, in a game where Texas had the LEAD going into the fourth quarter. But, yea... being the first game of the season means it counts a LOT less.

Apparantly the OSU - scUM was a meaningless win in your eyes. It was impressive... hard to fathom how Michigan could have been SO over-rated. I would be more impressed with it if I hadn't watched that entire Maryland game.. just LAST week.

I would favor Maryland to beat Kansas by at least 10 points

We had trouble against them, but managed to win.... with a little help from the zebras.

In case you were wondering why Dabo was upset with some of the fans who complained about the outcome of the Clemson / SC game:
Clemson has 4 losses in 4 years, some teams have that in one month.

Forget it, some won't rest until the all the charm of FBS is destroyed by becoming a mini-NFL.
Geographical nightmares with over expansion, paying players, neutral site games, and 46 bowl games? I forget the number now.
Expecting fans to travel for 3 straight weeks is horrendously expensive.
It's not the NCAA's job to promote southern tourism anyway.

FBS is already paying the players and there are currently 39 PSEGs....the only sport in which 56% of all teams advance to post season play

How about 51.61% of NHL teams?
Or 53.33% of NBA teams?
Yep, FBS is clearly an outlier here.

I sure didn't realize how bloated the post season for those pro leagues were. FBS football still #1 with 56% but much closer than I thought. So thanks for the data, CPA.

I still maintain that there are three fundamental problems with major college aged football :
1) Custom, imbalanced scheduling
2) Academic fraud
3) Lack of a national championship playoff
