WHAT IF..... the following Happens:
1) Alabama beats the snot out of Georgia. Say, 28-0, or worse... 2) Texas beats OU 3) Northwestern upsets Ohio State (The LEAST likely of these scenarios) 4) UCF manages to get a convincing win over Memphis, even without Milton?
Who gets the 4th spot in the CFP?
Does ANY 2-loss P5 recent loser get elevated over UCF... who would be 12-0 and on a 22-game win streak?
I don't think so. I think... the "IMPOSSIBLE" would happen, and UCF would be 'voted in' to the DPI Invitational US FBS National Championship Playoff.

The Cte. would never put UCF in without Milton. #1 Bama #2 Clem #3 ND #4 Mich I am 100% convinced the CFP committee would select an undefeated UCF over a 2-loss Michigan team that just got their teeth kicked in on National TV.
If they refused to select UCF in this circumstance, anti-trust lawyers around the country will be popping champagne bottles, and the US Court system will be moving in to break up FBS football.

Not according to Luginbill - he said Michigan will make it over UCF.

I think it needs to be a clear loss. If ALL P5 teams have 2, or more losses... and, their most recent losses were bad ones, HOW could they continue to overlook a G5 conference Champ that hasn't lost a game in two years?
They're be playing with nitro, from a legal standpoint.

UCF is already ahead of Michigan in the AP poll. In the CFP, they are one spot behind.... BUT, will be adding a quality win (if they beat Memphis)... while Michigan sits and licks their deep wounds.
It would be a difficult sell to NOT elevate UCF over Michigan.

I would hate to see UGA get the 4th spot.
2 teams from one conference should be a 100-year watermark, not an annual occurrence.

He’s tolerable and appears to be knowledgeable, as well.
