In the BCS we would have Alabama vs Clemson and a bunch of mad Notre Dame fans, would that really be so bad? 😂

In the BCS we would have Alabama vs Clemson and a bunch of mad Notre Dame fans, would that really be so bad? 😂 ...and in an NCAA FBS championship we would have Bama and UGA as well as Clemson, ND, OSU, OU UCF, UW, Appy, and some other champs competing for a national title.
15 games, 3 weeks = one legitimate championship game.

That’s FOUR weeks of play Hen. A quarter of the season... and far less drama in the regular season. All focus will be: prepare for the tourney No thanks

Bevo, 3 weeks of playoffs yields a legitimate champ game...just as posted. a 4th week yields a champion. too long Too long We already have to wait a month for these fake playoff semi-finals. The champ divisions start the playoff competition the weekend right after the regular season ends. You like the 30 day lull ?
The drama of the bracketology would be incredible, Bevo, over these next few weeks with a playoff.

They do this thing called, "Finals"... for a few students (the NFL bound) they don't matter. For the other 97% of students, they do. And then, there are holidays. I like letting the kids have a Christmas. I guess, you don't? The Lower Divisions can cut out reg season games since.. no one really cares about them anyway. Apples.. and, orangutans... trying to compare FBS with lower Div football. Don't even try it.

All I can say is the other 80% of college football must not take 'finals' . Anything academic related is a comical poor excuse.
You absolutely can compare..it's big apples to small apples but its all intercollegiate football.
The big apple division prefers an exhibition post season, the small apple divisions prefer a championship post season...bottom line.

After 3,000 posts we are back to where we started.
Let's just enjoy both.
Let's not force FBS to become a mini-NFL. If the organic progression leads us in a different direction, let the sport be the driver, not political correctness or conformity.
