Texas lost 8 starters on defense. That has me worried.

What should worry you the most, Bevo , is that over half of your coaching staff comes from insignificant and irrelevant football playing schools from the Championship divisions. How could they know anything about football playing at and graduating from places like Hardin-Simmons, Missouri Southern, Hamilton College, Texas State, Alleghany College, 3 from so called 'G5' second rate programs, and most worrisome of all - a head coach from Cal Lutheran ? good luck with that staff

You have a real knack for finding meaningless data.

I would think that where coaching talent comes from is irrelevant. I posted from YOUR perspective, Bevo, that champ division football is irrelevant, yet the Horns FB program is solidly in the hands of coaches from insignificant and irrelevant places.

Of course I know that the best coaching talent can come from anywhere(common knowledge among CF aficionados) .. I posted from YOUR perspective, Bevo, that small college - champ division football is irrelevant and insignificant yet the mighty, 'big time' Horns FB program is solidly in the hands of coaches from insignificant and irrelevant places. I think it's kinda ironically funny.

After 3 years of saying UK should start Gunner Hoak at QB, Hoak transfers and wins the starting job at Ohio State. Justin Fields on transfer watch?

After 3 years of saying UK should start Gunner Hoak at QB, Hoak transfers and wins the starting job at Ohio State. Justin Fields on transfer watch? I don't believe this accurate - the starter will be named today and it's on none of the Buckeye fan sites - so maybe CPA scooped them all! I do know had he not transferred, Joe Burrow would be OSU's starting QB and EvilVodka would say the Buckeyes have no chance due to what would be an unproven QB who had never started a game - the same QB he claims creates the biggest challenge to Clemson and Alabama this upcoming season. And at Ohio State he'd have better offensive weapons available to him.

Will Jalen Hurts will lead OK to 50+ points a game?

Will Jalen Hurts will lead OK to 50+ points a game? With the schedule they play it will be more like 60...they play 2 opponents ranked in the pre-season poll, Texas and ISU. Plus, Lincoln Riley is an offensive genius.

Plus, Lincoln Riley is an offensive genius. I think the O will have some drop off. 4 OL, #1 WR and #1RB gone.... I'd still put Riley as the 3rd best coach in conf. behind Patterson and Campbell. Herman is going to be good too.

After four years, we seen the loser of the national championship game come the next year with a chip on their shoulder and revenge on their mind.
I suspect Bama will be out for blood in 19.
