....to beat Ohio State?
seems like every year they run into the Buckeye Brickwall
maybe recruit some better skill position players?
you can't just run over Ohio State all game long

It's 3 star talent vs 4 & 5 star talent.....simple as that

It's 3 star talent vs 4 & 5 star talent.....simple as that Wisconsin isn't exactly nobody though...they are always at least a top 20 team. IMO, they need to find a fast Lamar Jackson/Michael Vick type QB They have the same problem that LSU used to have, and Georgia has now. Physical running offenses work against 90% of college football. But when you play the elite teams with talent everywhere, it breaks down. they are on the cusp every year. Get some speed and quickness on offense

Until that happens and he no longer has influence over the program Wisconsin is what they are and that's been a pretty damn good football program. Problem is a couple times a year they'll play defenses that can slow or stop the run and then their immobile QB will have to make some plays. That typically doesn't go well. But they are a very solid football program and it all starts with Barry Alvarez.

They have their system - recruit huge linemen and run the ball behind them - it's pretty effective. It's a cookie cutter system - they just fit new kids into the system when the others move on. There's no secret about what they're going to do - they just do it very well. when Taylor leaves they'll have a fresman come in and lead the BIG in rushing. It happens every 3 to 4 years.

LSU went out and got a good OC to help Burrow reach hiss potential. Kirby Smart still stuck with 1980's schemes of defense and heavy run.

I've said it all year - Fromm must be a stud if he beat out Fields

Wisconsin has a relative 'light' O line this year averaging 6-5, 302.LSU, Clemson, UGA, Oklahoma, Oregon, all much bigger. OSU is a little bigger ( 6-5, 309)

Kirby Smart still stuck with 1980's schemes of defense and heavy run. and he had Justin Fields - unbelievable. I've said it all year - Fromm must be a stud if he beat out Fields And yet, Smart never puts Fromm in a position to carry the team...he just keeps running and Fromm manages the game. That tells me all I need to know about Fromm....especially given Fields and his numbers this year.
