They won't be playing Iowa....I don't why all these prognosticators have ignored the Rose Bowl saying publically they'd take the higher ranked team, between Ohio State and Iowa, but it's hard to see Iowa losing and not falling behind tOSU

We’ve had a lot of discussions with (athletic directors) from both conferences. It’s really important. They’re putting a lot of weight in these rankings systems, and we will, too. It would truly have to be an extraordinary situation.”
The only “extraordinary situation" that Jenkins could think of that would apply for one team to jump another was if a team had already gone to the Rose Bowl for three consecutive years, as Wisconsin did from 2011-13. He said both conferences agreed three years in a row was too many, but two in a row wasn't.
The reporter asked specifically about how Iowa hasn't been in a while:
“I understand, you want to say the special circumstances (are that) Iowa hasn’t been here in a long time. My response is, that’s not good enough.”
So it's that simple. If Ohio State jumps the loser of the B1G CCG without making it to the CFP, they will be in the Rose Bowl. If the B1G CCG loser stays above OSU, then that team will be headed there.

If USC beats Stanford they go to Rose Bowl. They will be favored by 6-8 over Iowa If they were playing Iowa - if Iowa loses Saturday Ohio State will be going to the Rose Bowl (unless something really bizarre happens with the playoff selections). MID....
