At the completion of the season he fired two longtime assistants, Luke Murray and Dino Gaudio - Gaudio responded by threatening to extort the University with knowledge of improper recruiting practices. Gaudio and Mack have a long history dating back to early years at Xavier. I'd say Gaudio certainly assisted Mack in his rise to being Louisville's coach. He could have stayed at Xavier the rest of his life but he needed more. Who knows how this will end but usually it's not with a happy ending. Full disclosure - I've always thought Mack was pretty full of himself. He's cocky and arrogant. Some stories I've heard which have been substantiated makes me question his loyalty on several levels. The grass isn't always greener....

What a cluster.
Louisville is still in danger of getting the death penalty from the NCAA. They didn’t need this.
Is there a slower organization on earth than the NCAA? It’s like a suited up collection of sloths.

It’s like a suited up collection of sloths. Except when they need new rules on social justice issues such as bathrooms or transgender decisions.
