I'm really shocked how FSU jumped all over Montana. After the 'perfect' I thought she was un-hitable.
Anyway, I have really become a fan of the WCWS. These girls are wonderful the way they compete yet smile, , laugh and joke the whole time.
It should be a great champ series....3 games I hope.

It has been a fun season. I love softball.
I hope the Seminoles win. Not an Oklahoma fan.

If NCAA softball had a 'Invitational' selection committee to determine a final four does anyone think FSU would have been 'VOTED' directly into the final four ?...or JMU voted directly into the 'Invitational' final four ?...The major college football mythical championship system has been a joke because it believes that 'voting' is better than 'playing'. In true sports championships teams are eliminated by competition....not by opinions.

Hoping FSU wraps it up tonight. I think it's a bit of a joke that Oklahoma gets to play virtual home games in the Softball World Series but I get the importance of having a permanent destination.

If NCAA softball had a 'Invitational' selection committee to determine a final four does anyone think FSU would have been 'VOTED' directly into the final four ? No. Because their regular season wasn't good enough to qualify for such a limited field. Different rules. Not better, or worse. Just different. FBS Division rules put MORE of a premium on playing well in the regular season. ...or JMU voted directly into the 'Invitational' final four ?... No... for the same reason. They had a nice playoff run. Good for them. But, they didn't face the same quality of opponents during the regular season. So, no. They wouldn't have had the resume to make it, by invite to the Final 4. The major college football mythical championship system has been a joke because it believes that 'voting' is better than 'playing'. In true sports championships teams are eliminated by competition....not by opinions. College Football doesn't think "Voting is better than playing". They think: Voting a small playoff field, to allow PLAYING, is better than Voting only. And, Voting is better than NOTHING. Softball can play 2 games in a DAY! Football, only 1 per week. No way the top level of football is going to play a 64 team tournament. It would take 6 weeks. Tournaments are fun, and exciting. But, they are NOT the ONLY way to determine a "Champion".

Like basketball, most teams in the softball tournament are voted in. The same is true of the lower divisions of football. BH simply hasn't bothered to read the rules.

What premium rules on "playing well" were applied to 98 Tulane (12-0, 99 Marshall (13-0), 03 Miami,O (12-1), 04 Utah (12-0), 06 Boise State (13-0), 08 Utah (13-0), 09 Boise State(14-0) 2010 TCU (13-0), 2011 Boise Stare (12-1), 2011 Houston (13-1) and 2017 Central Florida (13-0).It's different all right.....exclusionary and mythical ...or JMU voted directly into the 'Invitational' final four ?... All other CF levels have real playoffs whereby playing determines the championship. The only voter is the scoreboard. NO EXCUSES FOR THE EXHIBITION DIVISION
