Rodgers threw the ball from his 36 to around 3-4 yards deep in the end zone. There are a few QBs who could do that, but I don't know if there are any others who could throw a ball that far and that high.

More amazing was how that receiver kept himself out of the scrum and just went and got the ball while everyone else was jockeying for position. he made it look rather easy.

Has religion done more good than harm...or the opposite ? You have causality problems. Religion facilitated civilization. The first rules, first public health, etc

He wasn't covered so I guess it was pretty easy. Still a shock.

sc69er,
Technology facilitated civilization, not religion. Religion came about from man's inability to explain natural phenomena having no scientific knowledge.

I learned this at the University of Delaware in my cultural Anthropology , folklore and folk culture classes Anyone want to give the question a shot ? ...... in the history of human civilization has religion caused more good than bad or bad than good ?

The first rules, first public health, etc sc69er, can you expound on that or dumb it down a little for me ? thanks Pretty simple: accumulated knowledge within a group determined some things were bad for you to eat long before the concept of a pathogen(germ, virus, parasite) evolved. The solutoion was religous deutary rules(Kosher, Halal, and the various Hindu/bhuddist rules). Simular the ban on sex outside of marriage to insure children had a two parents to rear them. Same with most of the religous rules of behavior. They came first, civilazition followed.

You need a mechanism to develop the functioning group. religion was one of the mechanisms.
