Between all the football, I was able to watch a few movies. Well, I actually watched 2 on the flights to and from Minnesota.
CODA - About a girl who is the only member of her family who can hear. This one was very good, actually teared up a bit at the end which is somewhat embarrassing given I was on an airplane. I downloaded this movie off Apple TV.
Uncle Frank - Not very good at all. About a girl who rides to a family funeral from NYC to South Carolina with her Uncle Frank, she's attending NYU and Uncle Frank is a professor there - she also discovers he's gay....not that there's anything wrong with that...except its the late 60's, early 70's. Very cliche and not worth the time to watch. But it did help pass the time on the 2 hour flight. Off Amazon Prime.
Cruella - very well done, the music is fantastic. Also set in the early 70's. Emma Stone is a great Cruella - tells the early life story of Cruella and she's actually the one you root for in the movie - Emma Thompson is the 'bad guy'. A part II is already in the works. Off the Disney Channel.
Back to football.....

I watched 75% of the Tom Hanks "Covid Era Classic", News of the World.
It's a candidate for MOST BORING MOVIE EVER.
Plot was highly predictable. SLOW??? Um.... slugs move faster than this movie. Finally just gave up on it, because... I really didn't CARE how it ended.

If you quit watching so many movies and start watching more football, your predictions might be more accurate bahaha

Hard to watch games on an airplane, especially last Wednesday at 4:00 pm when there were no games being played.
I said OSU would score over 40 points...check. Alabama by over 2 TDs...check. Wisconsin would grind out a win - well, they outgained PSU on the ground by a wide margin, they just made costly turnovers. Indiana would win but if Pennix wasn't 100% they'd lose - Pennix wasn't 100%. Texas would win, check. UNC - I drank the Kool Aid. LSU I thought would be better. ND wasn't methodical but they won. For what it's worth, I picked Ole Miss last night. We'll see how we do moving forward.
