I feel like both of these teams are a mystery...I have no idea what to expect from this game

I agree, hard to set expectations. Game Day, White Out, etc.
Penn State holds a 23-23 record against current members of the SEC. Of the 46 matchups, 20 have come in bowl games, including Penn State's most recent game against an SEC opponent, the 2019 Citrus Bowl against Kentucky. Penn State is 10-16 in regular season contests against the SEC.
Auburn is averaging 60+ points per game, but against nobodies.

Aufan meant the SEC officials would keep Auburn within two touchdowns! Man these officials have been bad! Great game though but how do the officials call the worst grounding penalty I’ve ever seen, there was not even any pressure on that play, how do the officials cost Penn State an entire down? How do they call forward progress stopped when the ball carrier was still going forward for Penn State on 4rth and 1. I’m glad Penn State won because they were clearly the better team but wow

Good game, love it when it comes down to the last play. Glad Auburn played well. The difference in the game was that fumble that resulted in a Penn State TD.
