We had a great time in Portugal - visited some extremely diverse areas; Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Obidos, Nazare, the Douro Valley, Braga, Amonde, Costello and Porto. The only miss was Obidos - pretty much a tourist trap but we only spent about 30 minutes there. Pretty inexpensive trip and the highlights were Sintra, Douro Valley and Porto - very cool places.
I missed most of the football the past 2 weeks. I did watch OSU on Saturday night. They dominated as expected and I liked the fact that their younger players seem to be stepping up to challenge for more playing time. I also hope they settles into a rotation that allows them to build some rythym. The didn't need Henderson against Akron so they only ran him 8 times. I think the offense is ready to take off and if the defense can find some consistency I see no reason why they can't win out.
One concern is at linebacker - one kid entered the portal and another quit during the game on Saturday, very odd. I don't think Eichenberg should ever see the field but they need depth - I like Simon and Mitchell and converted RB Storm Chambers is starting to make plays> I wonder what happened to the USC transefer - I don't recall seeing him on Saturday. Anyway, bring on Rutgers - I predict a big day for Henderson.
