He's touched the ball 77 times so far, has amassed 766 yards and 11 TD's - basically 10 yards per touch. He barely played in the opener but had a 70 yard TD reception. He already has broken the freshman single game rushing record. He only carried the ball about 10 times each in the Akron and Rutgers games. We're only 6 games into the season and he's played about the equivalent of 4 games. Competition is about to get tougher so it will be interesting to see if he can maintain this average - one thing is certain, you can't coach speed and he has a whole damn bunch of that.

Not only speed but he has the power as well and seems to have good vision as he typically picks the right holes. I remember when Maurice Clarett was in the backfield. His best feature was to see the hole and just accelerate through it. He was not the fastest but he got there quick. Treveyon seems to have the same instincts. However if I were to compare him to any of the great backs at tOSU it would definitely be Zeke.

All Dobbins did was set the OSU single season rushing record while sitting out the second half of 4 or 5 games.

It's a shame that Texas didn't do more to showcase the skill of Bijan Robinson in the 2nd half of the OU game.
They kept trying to run him on inside counters, that worked well in the 1st half. OU defense adjusted at half-time, starting shooting gaps to blow up the pulls. Texas NEVER adjusted. Robinson is a great receiver. As EV has mentioned, some screen passes would be been very effective. Never tried one.
Bijan is definitely the best RB I've seen at Texas probably since Cedric Benson. But, I think he's BETTER Than Cedric.

He was committed to Ohio State but I heard his mother wanted him to play closer to home so he flipped to Texas. He's a load, for sure. And OSU would up getting Henderson so both teams are in pretty solid shape at the RB position. What I like about Henderson is he's a great receiver out of the backfield, too - when he has a full head of steam he's not going to be caught.
