And why?
I think he’s done in football - no organization will touch him now.

It's revenge of....fill in the blank. Yep. The “why” seems clear. The “who” is an interesting question.

The NFL has to sacrifice a few to feel better about their own massive hypocrisy.

And why? I think he’s done in football - no organization will touch him now. I think it was started by Demaurice Smith, who it looked like, was NOT going to be re-nominated by the NFL Players union as their Rep. They just did re-elect him, with the promised that this would be his last term. I heard, the said emails were SENT to Bruce Allen? He was a team exec at Tampa, and later in Washington. So, I guess... the suspicion has to start with him? Or, someone who would have access to his emails? I mean.. wow... am NFL coach said some harsh things in private emails? Wow! COLOR ME SHOCKED!! Surely, every other coach will now release ALL private emails from the last 20 years? Players said a LOT of horrible things, publicly about the President of the United States recently. NOTHING done to them. I think people should be judged by their public behavior. I really don't care what you THINK about homosexuals. I care how you treat them.

I subsequently heard this arose out of the Washington investigation. Emails were obtained and leaked.

"The emails, which span from 2010 until 2018, when the coach signed a 10-year deal with Las Vegas after years as a 'Monday Night Football' analyst, include Gruden calling (Roger) Goodell a 'f-----' and 'clueless anti-football p----,' criticizing Goodell for allegedly pressuring then-Rams coach Jeff Fisher to draft 'queers,' and messages (to former Washington Football Team president Bruce Allen) that featured photos of topless Washington Football Team cheerleaders."
Hmnnn.... I'm not so sure Chucky won't become even more of a cultural icon when this is all over? He sure was correct about Goodell.

You know what's REALLY funny? Guess who going to perform during the Superbowl? Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg
Some of the worst homophobic, racist, and misogynistic lyrics by a group you’d find anywhere. And they rapped publicly to millions of people. Gruden had an expectation that his emails would be private, stupid, but the truth.
For example, read Dr. Dre’s ED-Ucation Lyrics (the first song I looked up by him). No way can they be posted on a site with civility.

what's really interesting is: The NFL has 650,000 emails from all kinds of people across the league. All sweeped up during the investigation of the Washington Football Team. Goodell has a treasure trove of information that he can use to blackmail anyone who sent anything offensive. And, who would bet that there's nothing else like this in the mix?
Roger's position is pretty solid. Unless, people start demanding ALL of it be released. Then, he might have a problem.
And, of course, the NCAA and FBI are sitting on hours and hours of phone calls that totally detail the high stake auctioning of basketball recruits. Plenty enough information to destroy the entire game. So far, they only seem intent on crushing Louisville. But even here, it's been wrist slaps, so far.

As an example, the Chris Mack/Dino Gaudio falling out. I think it's safe to say, without Dino Chris Mack is not in the position he's in. Dino was a mentor, helped him secure jobs, I think he was in Chris' wedding. And yet, Chris fired him - it's a cut throat business but I don't blame Dino for being pissed. He probably could have responded in a more professional manner but Chris used him as a scapegoat and i can understand him being pissed. I can tell you the Xavier fans have no love lost for him - he definitely burned that bridge to the ground.

Since you made me watch Shannon, I'll pay you back with this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S33tWZqXhnkNo really....it's incredible. Was just on the sidebar. Check it out. See if YOU can do what HE does! Shannon Sharpe has an incredible ability to say smart things, but still sound stupid doing it. He is right though. Jon Gruden was NOT the only man in the NFL talking that way 10 years ago. I was disappointed that the recording ended before Skip finished his story about Brady. I guess I missed the part about Tom going to court to clear his name? Not sure I EVER knew it, but... I'd sure forgotten about it. I thought, all Tom did was: fully inflate the damn balls and then go out and throw 4 TD's in the 2nd half.

Former Clemson position (RB) Rich Bisaccia takes over as Raider's coach.
I always remember Bisaccia's emphasis on ball security and the drills he put his players thru to help them. His first full year (1994) Clemson had just two lost fumbles, best in the nation, best in Clemson history and still remains an ACC record today.
He coached Raymond Preister to the Clemson rushing record, which lasted until ETN came to Clemson.
