1) Georgia has the look of the best all around team in CF 2) Ohio State: Probably a bit of a homer pick but also don’t think it’s that much of a stretch they may be the team that has the best chance of going toe to toe with Georgia at the end of the football season….,, the defense looks improved…… to be honest if Ohio State is playing their A game and I know the Big Ten is improved but if the Buckeyes are playing their “A” game no Big Ten is going to beat them and that includes Michigan. 3) Alabama Don’t let score fool you Bama has some vulnerabilities this year. This was a close game until late (Bama-Tennessee) 4 Cincinnati 5) Oregon……. I’m ranking this list based on how I think the teams are playing now….. if I go by deserving Oregon would be deserving of a playoff spot than Ohio State…… although I think right now Ohio State is the better team. 6) Oklahoma see Kansas game nuff said

I agree with the top 3 from a power rankings perspective...
But from the weekly poll perspective, W-Ls matter
I think Michigan and Michigan State should move ahead of Ohio State and Alabama. Why aren't they ahead? They're undefeated.
I also think Oregon should maybe be ahead of Ohio State
And Notre Dame and Wake Forest should definitely be in the top 10. Why aren't they higher?
1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. Michigan State 4. Cincinnati 5. Oklahoma 6. Alabama 7. Oregon 8. Wake Forest 9. Ohio State 10. Notre Dame
^^^this should be the AP Poll at the end of today

I did my rankings more a power rankings perspective The actual rankings probably should be 1) Georgia 2 Michigan 3 Cincinnati 4 Michigan State 5 Oklahoma and 6 Oregon 7 Ohio State 8 Alabama - I think Ohio State-Bama would be a pick-em game on a neutral field and if would be a really good game -Oregon should be ahead of Ohio State but I also think they got really lucky and played the Buckeyes at the right time this year. If they played next week If take the Buckeyes -I think Oklahoma is really lucky and all the teams in the top 5 would like beat them on a neutral field I’m not moving Cincinnati based on 1 poor performance vs. Navy. Navy’s option attack can be tough when it’s clicking and the Bearcats were a little off yesterday

I doubt the polls released today will mirror your thoughts, EV. I tend to trust the oddsmakers more than voters - look at their preseason rankings. There is no way, NO WAY, Michigan and MSU are the #2 and 3 teams in the country. Ones gonna lose next week, anyway. #2 might not be OSU but it sure as hell isn’t the teams from up north. Personally, I think Sparty will win next week with the game in East Lansing. Make their QB beat you and you got them. Sparty has more of a diverse offense and a better running back. Anyway, the teams that win out will be there - just win.

Voters are pretty dumb too though

Yeah - oddsmakers are dumb, that’s why Vegas exists. Oddsmakers had the over/under at 59 points I’m the OSU game last night - it wound up 61 points, those guys are clueless….jeez.

All the oddsmakers do it, try to find the sweet spot where they get the SAME money on both side. They are REMAKABLY good at it.

Is this your list? Lot's of inconsistencies. If it is all about wins and losses then WF should be ahead of Bama. Ohio State number 9? That one is laughable. I went against everything I stand for and listened to some of the ESPN pudits. They were going on about the only reason that Ohio State would get in over Oregon assuming they both have one loss is that the committee are a bunch of elitist. Here is what they forgot to mention Since the win against to OSU Here are oregon accomplishments Beat UCLA by 3 Dominated Stoneybrook Beat 2 - 5 Cal by 7 Struggled against Arizona with the nations longest losing streak until they pulled away in the fourth quarter Lost to Stanford who has a losing record. Meanwhile tOSU has rolled off 5 straight wins by an average margin of victory of 45 points. They also got a win versus a 5-2 Minnesota which is looking better and better. Apologies for my rant I will swear off the ESPN pundits for the remainder of the year.

Apologies for my rant I will swear off the ESPN pundits for the remainder of the year. Ohio State has nothing to worry about. Win the Big 10 and you are in good shape Dusty Dvorcek was the color man for the Buckeye game on Saturday. This morning on his radio show he said.... 1. Ohio State is the best offense he's seen all year. 2. Ohio State has the best offensive line he's seen all year. 3. Ohio State's team of receivers are the best he's seen all year. 4. UC may be ranked #2 but there is no way they're better or would beat Ohio State. 5. He compared Ohio State's offense to that of LSU's in 2019 and Alabama's last year. To his points, I think there are as many as 8 first round draft picks on Ohio State's offense. I've seen mock drafts with Olave, Wilson, Petit-Frere, Munford and Dawand Jones as first round picks. Smith-Njigba will be a high pick next year. CJ Stroud is a Heisman candidate and very well could be a first round pick. Treveyon Henderson will be one of the first backs picked when he comes out in a couple years. Paris Johnson will move to tackle next year and will get drafted - maybe not first round. This is just an amazing offense. I'm pretty sure Stroud was truly injured during a play in the Oregon game - he was hit late out of bounds and landed on his shoulder, Oregon received a 15 yard penalty on the play but Stroud received an injury. Had that not happened I think there would have been a different outcome - that and had Kerry Coombs tested positive for COVID. Anyway - you can manipulate rankings any way you like and if they ranked Oregon ahead of Ohio State with equal records I'd have no problem with that but Cincinnati, Oklahoma, MSU, Michigan and Wake Forest would not be able to stop Ohio State's offense - it's just a question of whether they could keep up in a scoring contest. I doubt any of them could.

It is just my annual rant where the ESPN pundits get me all riled up. We ended up finally getting sirius which may be a mistake when looking for college football content. I picked up betting college football this year and trying to get some better insight. I probably wager about $400 a week. Year to date I am up $4 or about 57 cents a week.
