It was the high stepping that was penalized. The rule is dumb, made over a decade ago. But the call was technically correct.

I agree with everyone, the rule is dumb. Just clarifying that it is in fact a rule. And a spot foul.
I remember it being called against an LSU punter way back when it was first implemented.

I know it’s a rule. I think it was poorly implemented in this case, if that’s taunting then just let robots play.
