Cincy has very little TV value. Bama/Saban is TV gold !.....ESPN knows that, the CFP people know that and astute CF fans know that. It's the bottom line for this whole system.

No undefeated school or conference champ should be afraid of getting "left out"....IMO, that's a red flag. Everyone should have a path to a National Championship. Let me Cincinnati’s defense attorney here…… Cincinati has one of the top three wins of this season by anyone…… period Notre Dame is probably gonna finish 11-1 and in the top 6. One of Alabama’s two ranked wins is to Miss State…….. Memphis beat Miss State….. what conference is Memphis from again? What has Notre Dame done beside being named Notre Dame?

and they will continue to win, look at their schedule. The question will be, where will the Irish be as other teams lose? Oklahoma, Ohio State, Cincinnati, Michigan St, all have their toughest games in front of them. With a lot of help Notre Dame and Oregon will make it

They lost against the only team on their schedule worth a damn. I guess the three point wins against Virginia Tech, Toledo and Florida State are super impressive. Guess we should thank Cincinnati for keeping Notre Dame out of the playoff.

And if the committee doesn’t devalue the Memphis loss by Miss State then why does the conference Cincinati plays in matter?

Back to my 'ESPN runs the CFP' conspiracy theory. If ESPN was not the main SEC media outlet and any other network had the CFP contract, Miss State wouldn't be there...imo. Lots of other changes too.

Not sure if you were responding to me, just saying Notre Dame isn’t that impressive of a win in my opinion. Don’t really care about where MSU is ranked to be honest, nor does it really matter.

Not sure if you were responding to me, just saying Notre Dame isn’t that impressive of a win in my opinion. Don’t really care about where MSU is ranked to be honest, nor does it really matter. Yes it does! The SEc has the highest one loss, two loss and 3 loss ranked teams think about that! It’s almost as if the committee just slapped Miss State at 17 just because they won a couple SEC games and had a decent record at 5-3…… let’s totally ignore they barely beat Louisiana Tech 35-34 and they lost to a Memphis team having a DOWN year. It shows a lack of actually homework by the committee and an SEC bias…… well we don’t know a lot Miss States total resume but they have a couple good SEC wins let’s ranks them above a couple 1 loss and 2 loss teams because they’re in the SEC. Hell I would have been okay with Arkansas at 17 and they’re SEC too but they at least have some solid wins……… And a solid better overall resume. But if a loss to Memphis didn’t drop MSU from the top 25 why did SMU’s loss to Houston drop them completely from the 25? SMU and Memphis are in the American so same conference only SMU got beat by an opponent having a much better season…… they’re building the case Cincinati didn’t play anyone by making sure the opponents they could face aren’t in the top 25…..

Lost to UC and continued to play teams annually that haven’t been relevant in years.

In an abstract way "they" kinda rough in CFP spots before the season begins....with somewhat of an exclusive wish list.
