And I wonder if any other team in history has ever done this....
If Garrett Wilson gets 187 more receiving yards this season and Chris Olave gets 292, Ohio State will have three 1,000-yard receivers in 2021.
Keep in mind, only five Buckeyes all-time had ever had 1,000 receiving yards in a season entering this year.
I'm pretty confident Wilson is going to hit 1000, he's been averaging about 90 yards per game, and actually missed one game due to concussion protocol. Ohio State will play at least 3 and potentially 5 more games so Olave has a pretty solid chance to get to 1000 yards, too. I can think of one scenario where he only plays 2 more games but I don't want to think about that right now. And of course, an injury could occur - hopefully not. And Smith-Njigba could get to 1,300 - 1,400 yards by the end of the season. It's been a lot of fun watching this receiving corp play this year.

I personally think Wilson is the best of the group. I am a little shock that Fleming, Harrison and Ebuka have not seen the field more.

Truly, I think those guys along with Smith-Njiba will light up the scoreboard next season. The top 3 this year are so good you have to ride them out, especially given the connection they have with Stroud.
BTW, I thought the 2019 LSU team may have had three 1000 yard receivers but they didn't - they had 2 receivers combine for over 3,000, Chase and Jefferson, but the next closest to 1000 was Thaddeus Moss with about 590 yards.

Makes sense to go with what got you there. Afterall those sitting on the sidelines know there time is next. With Henderson and the 3 Wideouts healthy I don't see how this offense can be stopped. I can see them putting up at least 50 against Sparty.

LSU almost had three when Beckham was there,,,2 had 1,000 but Jacobs finished with 890 or somthing like that. FLA has had 2 1,000 yard receivers before I think the Chargers hold the NFL record for 3 1,000 yarders with Winslow, Jefferson and Joiner @ over 3,700 yards.

Would be very interesting to see how Jefferson and Chase would have made out if they did not have Burrows under center.
