Win and your IN:
UGA - Clear #1 seed Alabama - Offense looks great defense does not tOSU - Defensive performance was as good as the offense which is saying a lot ttun - Held serve in convincing win. Elimination game next week
Teams in order 1 loss UGA - Dominate all year and will get the SEC ESPN invite and this one I would agree with Cinti - Oregon loss was huge. They are positioned well for a spot but a 1 loss UGA and 1 loss B12 champ could keep them out Oklahoma St - They have looked better than Oklahoma and will get Oklahoma and Baylor if they win out Oklahoma - They would get Okie St 2 times if they win out although committee does not like them to start with. Notre Dame - Blocked by UC but a lot can happen
2 loss BAMA - Too many close games will hurt them but then again it is the SEC ESPN Selection Committee 2 loss tOSU - Chaos will need to happen 2 loss ttun - Chaos will need to happen
Hanging on by a thread
UTSA - based on the committee this thread is very thin
Hasta La Vista the party is over Wake Forest - first year the ACC will not be invited Oregon - Dominated by Utah and another year on the outside for the P12 Michigan St - Crashed and burned like no other team this year Hanging on by a thread
UTSA - based on the committee this thread is very thin
Wake Forest - ACC's last hope taken out in non conference game against a conference opponent

All we heard all week was Clemson can't stop the Wake Forest Clawffense.
200 yards and 34 points under their average, excluding garbage time in the 4th.
10 sacks.

The results the previous 3 or 4 match ups should have told anyone thinking about betting the game that Clemson was the pick. Wake Forest simply didn't have the horses on either side of the ball to match up with Clemson's line play. I was at the Ohio State game so I didn't see the Clemson/Wake game but I can only imagine that the Clemson lines just manhandled the Deacons all game long.

The least bit of misdirection caused wake's LBs to pursue,,,Clemson had a field day (no pun intended) outside the tackles. Took advantage of Wake’s soft defensive front and bullied them all day. The offensive line was sublime, maybe best they’ve looked since post-Pitt in 2016.

Yes, the "CFI". I heard the play by play guy refer to this event as the "Invitational" in the Ok State - Texas Tech game. Guys, we're collectively intelligent. Let's use "CFI" instead of the fraudulent "CFP"

One thing that can't be denied is that Clemson still have a very good defense. No scored over 30 the entire season and was by far and away the best against UGA.

Let's use "CFI" instead of the fraudulent "CFP" The Committee of idiots have way too much power in terms of putting teams in on the eye test versus what they have done on the field. I use the mratings when trying to get a true feel for which teams are most deserving as it uses about 80 polls where the majority are computer generated based on criteria set before the start of the season. This week versus Top 25 massey UGA 2 - 0 tOSU 3 - 1 Bama 1 - 1 ttun 2 - 1 ND 2 - 1 Cinty 1 - 0 Oklahoma 0 - 1 otherOSU 1- 0 It will be interesting to see what the invitational show brings us.

I don't know if they are idiots, AJ, but they are given a ridiculous task. It's, by far, the dumbest, most unfair team championship system in all of sports at any level. It's so dumb it's comical.

Ok Ok they may not be idiots but a professor from Arizona St?? 75% are athletic directors that have affiliations with conference that will clearly have a bias. In the end it comes down to the so called eye tests which I agree makes this one of the dumbest and unfair system in any sport.

In the end it comes down to the so called eye tests which I agree makes this one of the dumbest and unfair system in any sport. Here is the list. This group has other jobs and are not watching College Football all weekend. Therefore they need to get there infor from the next best source the SEC ESPN Network: Mitch Barnhart, Kentucky athletics director Gary Barta, Iowa athletics director (Chair) Paola Boivin, Arizona State professor Tom Burman, Wyoming athletics director Charlie Cobb, Georgia State athletics director Boo Corrigan, NC State athletics director Rick George, Colorado athletics director Will Shields, former Nebraska offensive lineman Gene Taylor, Kansas State athletics director Joe Taylor, Vice President for Athletics and Community Wellness, Virginia Union University John Urschel, former Penn State offensive lineman Rod West, group president Entergy Corporation Tyrone Willingham, former head coach at Stanford, Notre Dame and Washington
Yep, pretty sure Cincinnati won't be getting any SECism in the process.

I've been a little doubtful of UGA's dominance. They got SEVERAL very lucky breaks against UK. To MY eye? tOSU is the best team playing right now.

AJ, Yeah eye test but I hold to my conspiracy theory that TV draw is a big factor too. If some network other then ESPN was running the CFI and the CFI committee shows I think you might see some variance in these mythical rankings. Can't prove it , just smell it.
