I dug through some old files I had and found the suggestion I made more than 10 years ago, on the other platform. I must say, my idea then has withstood the test of time: New Procedure; At the end of the regular season, Linus and Charlie Brown consult with the Great Pumpkin to determine the teams with the "Most Sincere Wins" ! I think it STILL would work as well as anything the powers-that-be have come up with.

I would trust it over anything the holy NCAA would come up with.

The holy NCAA has pretty good sports championships (Bama has won 3 of 'em). Hero is the only CF fan I know of that thinks the NCAA runs the CFP.

Hero, do you think the NCAA could come up with an FBS level football playoff better than Bevo's 'Charlie Brown' plan ? You inferred it couldn't.

They had about a hundred years to work it out and they failed miserably. That is the truth of the matter... That said, this point does not relate to your previous point concerning your ability to know my thoughts.

Oh jeez..work what out ?
Basic college football championship history 101 :
In the early 20th century universities with football teams started playing post season exhibition games ( mostly major programs)...and, of course, continue that to this day.....including pseudo, opinion based post season, non NCAA championships.
In the 1970s the NCAA decided to offer competition based , post season national football championships. Division II and III signed on immediately as did the Football Championship sub division of Div I(FCS). The major FB playing schools refused an NCAA football championship but chose to stick with the bowl system for its post season.
So please tell us how the National Collegiate Athletic Association screwed up. An association of colleges and universities cannot, legally, force schools to participate in sports championships. Hero, I think you should finger point elsewhere for big time CF's lack of a legitimate national championship.
