Big game this Saturday as N. Carolina comes to Boone to play my Mountaineers. Big deal for the Flagship university to come to us. And in 2025, N. C. State, the other flagship, will come play on Boone in a home-and-home series. It is a big deal here. It would be like Texas playing at N. Texas, or Florida St. playing at FAU, or Alabama playing at S. Alabama. The game is sold out and the university was selling single game tickets here for $150 (my season ticket package is 45 per game).

All that is left is to get a home-and-home with Duke and every Div. 1 school in North Carolina (FBS & FCS) would have played App State in Boone.

GO MOUNTAINEERS!!! BEAT THE TAR HEELS!!!

It was a great game. Over 40K in attendance. Largest crowd ever. A great atmosphere at App. I agreed with going for 2. Go for the win at home and almost had it. Questioned some of the play calling by the OC during the game, but proud of my Mountaineers, never giving up. 40 points in the 4th qtr. (62 combined 4th qtr. pts, 1 short of the FBS record) and over 1200 combined yards. Need to work on the D. hehe

On to College Station and TAMU
