Cincinnati is now 0-3 vs. the SEC in the last few years Utah is 0-2 against big name Big 10 and SEC opponents As I posted I think Ryan Day called a pretty poor game and the Buckeyes won kinda comfortably in the second half, but Notre Dame wasn’t stopping the ground game for Ohio State….. the passing game was off and Day still called almost twice as many passes as he did run plays. I think play calling kept the game closer than it needed to be….. hopefully he learns from this too

I think play calling kept the game closer than it needed to be….. hopefully he learns from this too Ohio State didn’t make it a 17 point spread, oddsmakers in Vegas who are trying to maximize wagers did. Still, Ohio State won by double figures. What I was happy to see was Ohio State’s lines basically dominate ND’s lines in the second half - especially given the Irish lines were both ranked among the top 10 in college football - that is a wonderful sign given some of the results of bigger games last year. They’re going to score a ton of points once they get in sync and with their lines I don’t think they’ll get bullied around this year.

I think play calling kept the game closer than it needed to be….. hopefully he learns from this too That OSU-Notre Dame game looked exactly as I fear the Texas-Bama game will be. We'll be all excited, and jump out to a lead. But the sheer depth of talent will wear us down in the end. That's sure what happened to Notre Dame. I enjoyed it, when it was the Irish. Not so sure I'm going to enjoy the re-run quite as much.
