I usually take the family (Wife, son 24 daughter 21) to tOSU ttun in ttun St every other year and go to the game. Usually have to drop about 175 for the ticket. Now that my daughter is a student at tOSU the remaining family members decided they needed to be in the shoe including my daughters girlfriend. Been tracking tickets for a while and they continued to trend up. Finally I had to pull the trigger. 3 tickets for $1500. Actually it is a good thing that I did it when I did because now that are at about $550. Never ever seen a demand for tickets for a game like this one. Usually day before the game seems like the best time to pull the trigger but this game just feels different. Anyway can't wait for this one!!!!

At least they were smart enough to not schedule it at the same time as the US-England WC game!
Texas remains clueless

We’ll be there in our usual spot under the scoreboard - a lot of steps to get up there, right Bevo?!

How different would this game be if we had a 12-team, or bigger playoff? BOTH teams would KNOW they're going to be invited to the only show that matters. Neither team would likely be all that excited about having to play in the CCG if they win. I bet, any players who weren't 100% healthy would be sitting. I doubt anyone would be paying $500 for a seat. Maybe, one day..... many years from now, a huge playoff will be the norm, and everyone will love it. It might be the BEST thing ever. But please, don't try to tell me it doesn't change the way we watch the game today. It will. I will NEVER cry in October again.

LOL Yes... a LOT of steps. Hope I can do it again next year, after retirement. Let’s make it happen! Brutal day Doc. I was definitely concerned in the first half when we got 3 points on our last 4 drivers. I did think the defense was playing really well especially against the run but the to defensive breakdowns on the long pass were a killer.
Once thing that I noticed was the CJ Stroud was not his normal self. He just did not see several receivers that were open in that game. It was almost like he could not get through the progressions. The other thing that stood out to me is that Stroud's mobility was a major liability in this one. There were several times where he could have pulled up the ball and take the yards. Instead he chose to hold on to the ball leading to an incomplete pass. ttun's QB was was far more decisive in using his feet in the ground game. The real difference was his ability to use his feet to create time which led to the defensive breakdowns.
Quite honestly, from the Iowa game on I really did not see Stroud progress the way I thought he would. It will be interesting to see what decision he makes after this season. At the moment I don't see him succeeding at the next level.
