What a game.
TCU has been a ‘team of destiny’ all year.
What a story

What a crazy game
Totally shows that the media narrative about Michigan being too big and physical was total BS
What happened? A shootout broke out
2 pick sizes
That game was all over the place...that's what happens when you deal with the hypnotoad

I would HATE to be a Wolverine fan watching that game. I thought the refs were pretty horrible. But, honestly? I don't think they made a difference.
The first TD catch that was overturned, I thought was clearly a TD. The receiver didn't possess the ball until he was IN the end zone. BUT... on the TCU drive before, UM committed an obvious PI on 3rd down that didn't get called. The B1G homer announcer said, "It's not PI if you're making a play on the ball"... um... it IS if your "play" includes blowing through the receiver before the ball arrives.
The last targeting call probably, by rule, should have been called. But, it's such a bullshit rule, I'm glad that it wasn't. It was a pure desperation play. I'd hate to see that stupid call change the outcome of such a great game.
The SEC refs were bad. But, I admit: When challenged, I couldn't say which conference has GOOD refs. They're basically ALL bad.

What a crazy game Totally shows that the media narrative about Michigan being too big and physical was total BS What happened? A shootout broke out 2 pick sizes That game was all over the place...that's what happens when you deal with the hypnotoad Exactly...that too big crap
TCU's defense practices against a bigger offensive line every day in practice. Michigan's O line is of very average size, at best, for D1 teams including FCS teams and TCU's defense plays against bigger O lines in almost every B12 game. That Big bad O line crap is just more media perception.....so very common to this sport. Michigan's starting offensive line: """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Hayes - 6-7, 305 Keegan- 6-6, 305 Olusegun - 6-3, 307 Zinter - 6-6, 315 Barnhart - 6-5, 308........average - 6-5, 308
TCU's starting offensive line ( which gets no mention about being big or physical) """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Coleman -6-6, 325 Avila - 6-4, 330 Ali - 6-5, 300 Harris - 6-4, 315 Coker - 6-7, 315 ...........average - 6-5, 317
This goofy perception is probably because Michigan just 'sounds' like it's bigger.....the big gold 'M' logo, playing in the 'big house, plays in the 'Big' Ten etc.
