According to internet posts, it is looking like the Big 12 is going to expand by getting the Pac 12's 4 corner schools (Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Arizona State). Some are stating as soon as the end of this month. This could spell the end of the PAC 12. It would make the Big 12 a player again. And make Utah and BYU conference opponents again.

Are you seeing a future FBS with 4 mega leagues, Stumpy, or will the ACC big brands eventually get absorbed and we'll have a B12 -B10 -SEC FBS ?

The Big12 needs to do something to stay relevant in the eyes of network execs.

The ACC's future is hinging on Notre Dame. If the Irish and the ACC can work out a deal with the NBC contract and they join full time in football, and the ACC brings in a 16th team, the contract with ESPN can be renegotiated. That could bring in SEC/Big 10 type dollars to keep the members, FSU and Clemson, happy and keep the ACC a power conference.
