My son moved to Colorado this earlier this summer. I will say Denver is a pretty cool city but oh my the sticker shock of everthing is through the roof. His apartment is over 3K per month???
He is a WVU grad and he decided to come back for the PSU WVU game. We some how got a hotel room walking distance to campus. He will be joined with many of his WVU buddies. Any reccomendations on what to do? Where to go?

My kids took me to Happy Valley last year for the Ohio State game. It was a beautiful day, the Buckeyes won and we had a great time. My son was invited to a tailgate hosted by someone from his company who went to Penn State and they were very hospitable. We stayed in Altoona (about 40 miles away) and drove in Saturday morning for the game. Fans were civil but they were feeling pretty confident PSU was going to win until Sean Clifford threw the pick six to Tuomoulo (not sure I spelled that correctly). They started to clear out with about 5 minutes to go. Stadium is huge and loud.
There’s an ice cream shop on campus that was awesome. There was about a 40 minute wait but worth it, I got Paterno Peach.

I thought I recalled that you went there. Glad to here the fans were civil. My wife loves ice cream and we will have the entire game day to check it out. With kids out of college we are thinking about road tripping it to hopefully get to all the Big 10 stadiums. That is going to be a challenge now with all of the insane expansion. This is number 4 with Nebraska ttun and the shoe under my belt.
