According to a report on the Athletic, the ACC is going to add SMU, Cal and Stanford. It looks complicated but does raise revenue some. I guess it's the All Coasts Conference now.

I think this is a survival move by the ACC. They know FSU, Clemson, and most likely UNC will leave at some point.
This also keeps the ACC as one of the top academic conferences.
I think we could see USF and Tulane added if FSU & Co. leave
SO...I think we end up with 2 MEGA conferences: SEC & B1G
2 Decent and competitive conferences in the Big XII and ACC
I also think the conference Oregon State and Wazzou go to will be the official #5 conference, and I think that conference could raid some G5 conferences. For example, if Oregon State and Washington State go to the Mountain West, I could see the MW also grabbing UTSA, Memphis, and a few more schools to go to 16 or 18.

So now we will have THREE conferences that stretch pretty much coast to coast:
ACC - From California to South Carolina (lol)...and a random school in Texas in between!
Big 12 - From Arizona / Utah to West Virginia and down to Florida.
Big Ten - from Southern California to New Jersey / Maryland.
Can we at least have the Big 12 swap UCF and WVU to the ACC in exchange for SMU and Lville to make some geographic sense in those areas? What a mess.
The SEC is the only power conference with all continuous states remaining in one quadrant of the country.

The BC road trips to play Cal and Stanford should be fun - Same as Rutgers going to LA for a couple losses.
