Not your everyday household running back name but yesterday Ohio State was down to Hayden, #4 on the Buckeye depth chart, and he delivered - 71 yards on 11 carries. Last year I thought GE always ran hard and deserved more carries. We’ll yesterday he picked up the offense with his first game action and gave the offense a much needed spark. I heard they plan to redshirt Hayden but after yesterday I hope the coaches realize he needs to be a part of the back rotation. I’m afraid Henderson lacks toughness - sits out too many games.

I truelly believe he is their best back. I realize the offensive line has issues but to me holes have been there at times for Henderson that he’s just missed…… I hate to call a college kid a bust, but for his hype his career has been a little disappointing.

Hayden definitely looked better than Trayanum. Also Johnson had some nice runs as well from the backfield. Hayden seems to bring the best combination of power and speed from what I have seen thus far.
