Just from games … the rest of the year.
Conference officials have more balls than the NCAA. But, still not enough

Funny - Harbaugh was ready to go to court and plead his case, the AD was livid that he learned about the suspension via social media and yet, at the 23rd hour they accept the suspension to put the focus back on the team.
I believe the BIG went to Michigan and said we have a lot more on you guys so you might want to accept the punishment and we’ll stop the investigation. That doesn’t mean the NCAA is stopping their investigation but as we all know, that could take years. I think Harbaugh will be done at Michigan after this season - especially if the BIG shared some of the other violations with Michigan’s board and administration. Just my thoughts - we’ll see how it plays out.

Just my thoughts - we’ll see how it plays out. I heard some shows this this morning indicating what you are suggesting. I do agree something transpired between the BIG and ttun that lead to this decision. I find it funny that the self proclaimed America's Team stated that they want to take the high road on this. It is just laughable considering how they have responded during this whole investigation. jimmy has been shooting his mouth all week long how he was going to sit and the stand and sing. My personal take is that jimmy knows far more than what he let on. Therefore going on the stand and testifying would put himself in a bad position if he were forced to answer some question that could possibly lead to perjury when the investigation moves forward. I did hear the NCAA has been trying to get coaches on the staff to come forward with info in exchange for immunity. Just yesterday, the self proclaimed America's Team co DC has not deleted his twitter account. As we sing it here in OH- Hail to the mother f###ers! Hail to the big c##k suckers! Hail Hail to meatchicken the cesspool of the world!

So. Michigan wins the CFP this year, engraves the title on a statue of Harbaugh….
… and then, the NCAA vacates all these wins in what? 2029?
I hope I live long enough to see the HARSH penalty the NCAA decides on. 🙄

I hope I live long enough to see the HARSH penalty the NCAA decides on. 🙄 This is another reason that I continue to lose my passion for this sport. It floors me that all of these people defending ttun and putting emphasis on not punishing the players seem to forgot one thing. What about all of those players that were denied chances to compete in the BIG CCG or CFP. tOSU has had 2 BIG CCG and CFP appearance taken away during this time frame. 2022 Iowa lost out on a BIG CCG appearance. In 2021, could have gone into the B1G with a one loss team and a shot at a CFP invite with a win. 2022 MSU lost out on a Bowl Appearance CFP wise ND sat at the 5 spot in 2021 and Bama sat at the 4 spot in 2022 How were any of the players on these teams not punished because of ttun's cheating scandal?

I think they should suspend the communist idiot who came up with those rules.

I think they should suspend the communist idiot who came up with those rules. Debating what the rules are is one thing. When you blatantly violate the rules for 2.5 years you need to pay a price. Keep in mind that ttun knew what they were doing was wrong. Connor Stallions ran the operation and it was incited the jimmy should be left out of the loop on this one. Who know what remains to be scene but considering ttun just fired the Co DC indicates it is far deeper than what we are being lead to believe.

Yeah, why coach the kids on what to say about Stalions if you did nothing wrong? I know alums of Michigan are far smarter than alums of other BIG schools. But if they truly believe this was an isolated, rogue staff member than maybe they're the idiots. When I read the statement from the Michigan's AD laced with words like integrity I had to swallow my vomit. You want to show integrity - resign your spot on the playoff selection board. That's the right thing to do - bet he won't.

I agree with you.., if those are the rules, and everyone else is following them (although, I highly doubt that)… there needs to be swift and severe punishment. But, for the life of me, I DO NOT understand why they would have such a rule. It’s a blatant abuse of freedom. To me, it makes about as much sense as a rule saying a player can’t trade his Bowl ring for tattoos.

Not every school has the budget or deep pocketed alums who are willing to fund elaborate schemes to steal opposing teams signs by sending scouts to games of future opponents to video their sidelines. As a result of this I would guess all teams will soon go to the NFL model and have communication of plays go to the QB's helmet (or the defensive captain).

Pass rules to punish the wealthy in an effort to make everyone the same. Laws/rules that conflict with human freedom and nature will always be violated. Whoever thought everyone should have the right to hold up goofy signs without having others try to understand what they mean? Back in my day, the coach ran a kid on the field with the play. We didn’t have to worry about sign stealing. Lol

My QB wore a wrist band with the plays numbered on it and I'd run plays in with my wingbacks. I'd say #6 - the kid would tell the QB and they'd run the play. Pretty simple. Now the coaches cover their faces so the opposition cant see his lips moving.
